— Technology · Three.js and WebGL

Three.js product configurator agency.

A beautiful scene that cannot price, cannot check out and cannot reach production is a demo. We build the scene and the channel it sells through.

SBFS builds real-time Three.js and WebGL product configurators as part of the commerce stack they sell through, not as a standalone scene. Door Builder and Muebles Torga run Three.js configurators in production and Pepart runs React Three Fiber with a 2D canvas fallback for browsers without WebGL. The geometry, materials and lighting are modelled to your product range rather than dropped in from a template.

02— Fit

Who this is for

Your product has to be seen to be sold

Made to order means nothing on a shelf and no photograph of the exact combination the buyer is about to pay for.

The scene is not the hard part

Option rules, pricing, checkout and the admin behind the scene are where configurator projects actually stall.

It has to work on the devices your buyers have

Pepart ships a 2D canvas fallback for browsers without WebGL, because a blank canvas is a lost order.

03— Capabilities

What we build

Real-time WebGL built around your geometry

A real-time WebGL scene custom-built around your product geometry, with materials and lighting modelled to your brand and range instead of a stock template.

Three.js and React Three Fiber, both shipped

Door Builder and Muebles Torga run Three.js configurators; Pepart runs React Three Fiber. Same team, same stack, all in production.

A fallback for browsers without WebGL

Pepart buyers preview a piece in 3D or staged in a room, with a 2D canvas fallback so a buyer on an old browser still sees it and still checks out.

The scene wired to rules and price

The configurator only offers combinations you can build and the price resolves from the same option model, so the render and the order cannot disagree.

Quote turnaround

Door Builder's sales team hand-built quotes for two and a half weeks. SBFS shipped the full stack — a configurator wired to shop-floor routing, commercial pricing tiers in checkout, and a B2B dealer-network portal — and collapsed that to four minutes.

05— Method

How an engagement runs

01

Week 1 · Scope and catalog audit

We model your product range, the option rules behind it and the geometry the scene needs, then write the spec. You see exactly what we will build before we start.

02

Weeks 2 to 6 · Build to MVP

Scene, configurator UX, pricing rules, checkout and admin ship in parallel, with a reviewable demo every Friday in your own staging environment.

03

Week 6 · Production handoff

Deployed to your domain on your Vercel team and your Neon database. Your team is trained on the system, and we stay on retainer for tuning, not maintenance.

Doors are configured, not stocked: slab, lite, panel, hardware, finish, size. We build the configurator that prices that catalog live and hands production an order it can actually build.

Print on demand has a trust problem: the buyer cannot see what will arrive. We build storefronts where the preview and the print file come out of the same pipeline.

Customer-service tickets

Torga's modular systems are powerful and confusing — customers ordered parts that didn't fit. SBFS added visual compatibility rules in the configurator plus a B2B dealer portal with scoped manager impersonation, and customer-service tickets fell 72%.

Preview = the print

Pepart sells framed posters printed on demand. SBFS built a real-time 3D frame configurator where the customer's exact crop and frame choice are reproduced at print resolution — what they preview is what ships — with fulfilment automated end to end through Printful.
