Every quote, by construction
— The challenge

The problem

Door Builder configures doors for both residential and commercial buyers, so every order is bespoke. Their sales team hand-built each quote — matching options to what the shop floor could actually produce, pricing commercial tiers by hand, and emailing dealers back and forth. A single quote took up to two and a half weeks, and the dealer network had no way to order on its own.
— What we built

The solution

01

A configurator wired to the shop floor

Buyers configure doors in 3D with only the combinations the shop can build — option rules mirror real manufacturing constraints, so every quote is buildable by construction.

02

Commercial pricing inside checkout

Residential and commercial pricing tiers resolve automatically in the cart, with Stripe handling deposits and full payment.

03

A B2B dealer-network portal

Dealers sign in to configure, quote, and reorder on their own — no email round-trips, every account scoped to its own orders.

— The outcome

What changed

What used to take the sales team two and a half weeks now takes a dealer four minutes, unattended — and because the configurator only offers buildable combinations, the quotes that come out the other side are ready for the shop floor.
