3D door configurator for door manufacturers.

SBFS builds 3D door configurators for made-to-order door manufacturers, wired to the option rules the shop floor can actually produce. Door Builder used ours to replace a manual quoting cycle of about two and a half weeks with a four-minute self-serve configuration. A door configurator is priced in ranges, from $2,500 setup for a visual configurator to $50,000 and up for the full channel, each with a monthly fee.

01— The problem

Quoting doors by hand

Doors are configured, not stocked: species, size, glazing, hardware and sidelites multiply into thousands of combinations. A rep matches each request to what the shop can build, prices it by hand and emails it back. Dealers wait on that loop for every quote and every reorder. When a door that cannot be built gets quoted, production sends it back.

02— What it does

What the configurator does

The demo above shows what a buyer sees. A build for you starts from your own products, rules and prices.

In this demo

Species

Mahogany, white oak, walnut and cherry, each with its own price.

Door size

Width and height sliders that resize the door as you drag them.

Glass lite and sidelite

Add a glass lite to the leaf or a sidelite beside it.

Hardware finish

Matte black, brass, stainless and brushed nickel.

Live price

The estimate updates with every change and lists what each option adds. The prices in this demo are samples; yours come from your own price list.

In your build

Your catalog and your price list

Your products, option names and prices, embedded in your site or Shopify.

Option rules

Combinations your shop cannot build are blocked as the buyer configures, so what leaves the browser is buildable.

Quotes and leads

Each configuration reaches your team as a lead or a quote, with every option attached.

Production outputs and integrations

Free dimensions, fabrication rules, outputs for production and integration with your e-commerce or ERP.

Quote turnaround

Door Builder

Quotes that took Door Builder's sales team about two and a half weeks now take a dealer four minutes. SBFS built the full stack: a configurator wired to shop-floor routing, commercial pricing tiers in checkout, and a B2B dealer-network portal. Every quote is buildable by construction.

05— FAQ

Questions about doors configurators.

Straight answers. If your question is not below, ask it on the call.

We price in ranges, because a simple configurator and one that moves parts around a scene are different jobs. Each tier is a one-time setup plus a monthly fee for running and improving it. Entry: $2,500–$5,000 setup and $150–$300 a month, for a visual configurator of one product or family, with colors, materials and options, embedded in your site or Shopify. Parametric: $20,000–$40,000 setup and $500–$1,500 a month, for free dimensions, fabrication rules, outputs for production and integration with your e-commerce or ERP. Forge: from $50,000 setup and a monthly fee scoped with you, for your whole commercial operation on your own platform. Diagnose is included and ends with a quote inside your tier.

The full channel typically ships in six weeks: about a week of Diagnose, four weeks of build, one of launch. Juan is on every call, and you see working builds in your own staging environment every week.

That is the point of the option rules. Door Builder configures against what the shop floor can route, so the configuration that leaves the browser is buildable rather than something production has to send back.

Yes. For Door Builder we built a B2B dealer portal where dealers sign in to configure, quote and reorder on their own, each account scoped to its own orders.

Yes. That is the demo we offer: book a call, tell us about one product you sell today, and we show it configured in 3D with your options. If it is a fit, Diagnose, about a week and included, ends with a spec and a quote inside your tier.

You do: the source code and the data, with no license or per-seat fee. The repository can live in your GitHub or GitLab.
