Capability · Configure, price, quote

Custom CPQ software for manufacturers.

Configure, price, quote. For a made-to-order manufacturer that means the buyer does all three in the browser, and what comes out is an order rather than a PDF.

The short answer

SBFS builds custom configure-price-quote software for made-to-order manufacturers, where the buyer configures in 3D, watches the price resolve live and checks out instead of waiting for a rep. Door Builder replaced a manual quoting cycle of about two and a half weeks with a four-minute self-serve configuration, and NOMI quotes and orders sync two-way with Salesforce so nothing is re-keyed into the pipeline.

01— Fit

Who this is for

Reps hand-build every quote

Options, pricing and lead time are assembled by a person, and the buyer waits days for a PDF while a faster competitor prices it live.

Pricing depends on who is asking

Retail, trade and dealer tiers, volume discounts, regional pricing. Today that logic lives in a rep's head and a spreadsheet.

The quote never becomes an order

Even an accepted quote gets re-keyed into the CRM, into the ERP and onto the shop floor by hand.

02— Capabilities

What we build

Configure in 3D

A live 3D configurator built around your own product, offering only the combinations you can actually build.

Price that resolves in the cart

Door Builder's residential and commercial price tiers apply automatically at checkout, with Stripe taking deposits and full payments.

Quote to order, not quote to PDF

The configuration becomes a cart and an order. Where a quote still needs approval it stays a live record in the system instead of an attachment in an inbox.

Wired into your pipeline

NOMI quotes and orders sync two-way with Salesforce, so the sales pipeline reflects the configurator without anyone re-entering data.

Quote turnaround

Quotes that took Door Builder's sales team about two and a half weeks now take a dealer four minutes. Dealers design, price and order doors on their own, residential and commercial pricing applies by itself, and every order that comes in is a door the shop can actually build.

Into the plans
Configured furniture, straight into architects’ drawings

Architects place NOMI's configured furniture straight into their building plans, and every trade quote lands in the sales pipeline without anyone typing it in again. Designers get trade pricing and saved projects; retail buyers get standard pricing, from the same configurator.

04— Method

How an engagement runs

01

Diagnose · about a week, included

We model your catalog, your option rules and every pricing tier with your sales team, then write the spec. You see exactly what we will build before we start.

02

Build · quoted in Diagnose, inside your tier

Configurator, pricing engine, checkout, portal, admin and CRM integration ship in parallel, with a reviewable demo every Friday on your own test site.

03

Operate & improve · after launch

Launched on your domain, then we stay on: new product lines, rules, prices and integrations, under the monthly fee of your tier. The code and data are yours.

05— FAQ

Questions buyers ask before they commit.

You own this one: the source code, the data and the pricing rules, in code your team can change rather than behind per-seat fees in someone else's system.

We price in ranges, because a configurator that changes colors and one that resizes the product within your fabrication rules are different jobs. Each tier is a one-time setup plus a monthly fee for running and improving it. Entry: $2,500–$5,000 setup and $150–$300 a month, for a visual configurator of one product or family, with colors, materials and options, embedded in your site or Shopify. Mid: $6,000–$12,000 setup and $300–$600 a month, for options with rules, automatic pricing and each configuration sent to you as a lead or a quote, for a fixed product range. Parametric: $20,000–$40,000 setup and $500–$1,500 a month, for any size the buyer types in, your fabrication rules, files for production, and a connection to your online store or ERP. Forge: from $50,000 setup and a monthly fee scoped with you, for your whole sales operation, from catalog to checkout, on a platform you own. Diagnose is included and ends with a quote inside your tier.

Door Builder went from about two and a half weeks per quote to four minutes, unattended. The full channel typically ships in six weeks: about a week of Diagnose, four weeks of build, one of launch.

Yes, and that is scoped in week one. NOMI syncs quotes and orders two-way with Salesforce; other engagements integrate ERP, shipping or accounting depending on what operations need.

On Vercel and Neon, in the region you choose. It runs on your own accounts from the start, or on ours while we operate it, and we move it to yours whenever you ask.

Capability · Configuration to production

A product configurator that production can build from

A configuration is only useful if the shop floor can build it. We model the option rules against what you actually manufacture, so the order that arrives is a specification, not a picture.

Capability · Dealer and trade portals

Dealer portal and B2B ordering for manufacturers

Your dealers reorder constantly and should not need your sales team to do it. They need their own login, their own pricing and their own order history.

Capability · ERP and CRM integration

3D configurator ERP and CRM integration

A configurator that does not reach your CRM, your ERP or your fulfillment partner has only moved the re-keying somewhere else. We wire it into the systems that already run the business.
