Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you fill out a contact or booking form, request a proposal, or otherwise reach out to us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, company, the product you make, your budget range, and any message or project brief you send.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our sites we may collect limited technical and usage data (such as your IP address, browser type and device, the pages you view, referring links, and the date and time of your visit) through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you.
• To prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and the services you request.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our websites and services.
• To understand how our pages perform through aggregated, analytical usage data.
• To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep our sites functioning, remember your preferences, and measure how our pages are used so we can improve them. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that some features may not work correctly without them.

The tools we use. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, measures visits and the actions taken on our pages. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views and measure page speed without cookies. Apollo.io’s website tracker can identify the company behind a visit so we can follow up with businesses that show interest. Your browser also keeps a record of the page and campaign that first brought you to us, for up to 90 days, so we know which channels work. If we advertise, we may use Google Ads and LinkedIn tags to measure our ads and to show them again to people who visited our pages.

Where consent is required. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Quebec, we do not ask for consent today, so none of the tools above stores anything in your browser there: Google’s tags run with analytics and advertising consent set to “denied”, so they set no cookies; the Apollo.io tracker does not load; we do not use LinkedIn’s tag there; and the first-visit record is never written to your browser. We set one cookie that only records whether your region requires consent, and the site remembers its display theme; neither identifies you. Elsewhere, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of Google advertising and the Apollo.io tracker.

Opting out. You can turn off personalized Google ads in My Ad Center, opt out of LinkedIn ad retargeting in its guest controls, and block Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on. To opt out of Apollo.io identification, email juan@sbfs.co.

4. AI assistant

Our site includes a chat assistant that answers questions about SBFS using an AI model (currently Anthropic’s Claude, accessed through the Vercel AI Gateway). The messages you type, and any contact details you include in them, are sent to these providers and processed to answer you.

If you share your email address in the chat, we store the details you shared, together with the page you were on and how you found our site, as an inquiry so Juan can follow up with you. Please don’t share sensitive information in the chat, such as health, financial, or government ID details. To have a chat inquiry deleted, email juan@sbfs.co.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share it with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business, for example hosting and cloud infrastructure, email delivery, AI model providers, and analytics providers. They are permitted to use it only to perform services on our behalf. The advertising and visitor-identification tools described under “Cookies and analytics” (Google, LinkedIn and Apollo.io) receive data about your visit directly from your browser, which some US state laws treat as “sharing” for advertising; you can opt out as described there. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to your inquiries, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

10. Children’s privacy

Our sites and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
