3D furniture configurator development.

Modular systems are powerful and easy to order wrong. We build the configurator that blocks the combinations that do not fit, prices them, and sells them to retail and trade from one catalog.

SBFS builds 3D furniture configurators for made-to-order manufacturers, including the compatibility rules, the trade pricing and the portal around them. Muebles Torga cut customer-service tickets by 72% once impossible combinations became impossible to order, and NOMI sells configured pieces to retail buyers, trade designers and architects from the same catalog. Builds run six weeks and start at $48,000 USD fixed fee.

02— Fit

Who this is for

Your catalog is modular

Customers combine parts that do not physically fit, and every mistake turns into a support ticket, a return or a re-order.

You sell retail and trade

Designers and dealers need their own pricing, saved projects and reorder history. Retail buyers need a storefront that simply works.

You run more than one brand

A second brand should not mean a second codebase. Nafarú has its own catalog, pricing and identity on the platform built for Muebles Torga.

03— Capabilities

What we build

Visual compatibility rules

The configurator only lets customers combine parts that actually fit. Incompatible options are blocked in real time, before checkout, instead of in the support inbox.

Trade pricing and a designer portal

NOMI trade users see designer pricing and team discounts with saved configurations, retail users see standard pricing, from one configurator.

Exports an architect can use

For NOMI we built a public API that turns any configuration into a native Revit family, so architects place the exact piece inside their BIM model.

One platform, several storefronts

Commerce, catalog and configurator are shared, so a fix or a feature lands once and every brand gets it instead of two codebases drifting apart.

−72%
Customer-service tickets

Torga's modular systems are powerful and confusing — customers ordered parts that didn't fit. SBFS added visual compatibility rules in the configurator plus a B2B dealer portal with scoped manager impersonation, and customer-service tickets fell 72%.

05— Method

How an engagement runs

01

Week 1 · Scope and catalog audit

We model your ranges, modules and reference codes with your product team and write down the compatibility rules that today live in people. You see the spec before we start.

02

Weeks 2 to 6 · Build to MVP

Configurator, checkout, trade portal, admin and renderer ship in parallel, with a reviewable demo every Friday in your own staging environment.

03

Week 6 · Production handoff

Deployed to your domain on your Vercel team and your Neon database. Your team is trained on the system, and we stay on retainer for tuning, not maintenance.

Modular furniture — second retail brand

Brief to live storefront

Nafarú is a second retail brand launched on the platform already built for Muebles Torga. Because the commerce, catalog, and configurator layers were already there, the work was brand fit and catalog — not a second build — and it went from brief to live storefront in six weeks.

Configured furniture, exported as BIM

NOMI sells made-to-order furniture to interior designers and direct buyers. SBFS built a 3D configurator with a trade/designer portal — saved configurations, trade pricing, and Salesforce-synced quotes — plus a public API that exports any configured piece straight to Revit (.rfa) for architects.
